Visits with friends

Yes I'm still here. I think I'm finally coming out of the first trimester 'blahs' and feeling better. Good, I want to enjoy all the tastes of the holidays!

Here's a late post. Dale and Ava were up from NC and it was nice to chat while the kids played. I really had fun watching to two together. I need to get out with Devin to meet more kids - it's great. The timing is always the hard part.

Encore

Chris and I have decided that sleep just gets in the way - who needs it anyway? We are blessed to share with you that another baby is on the way. Due sometime in early to mid June. So it's still pretty early in the pregnancy. This is the first ultrasound and the baby is between the two plus signs in the center of the photo. Stay tuned for all the updates...

Devin does house work

Ah this is too good too last! But I will enjoy it any time I can for now. Devin picked up the swiffer and started pushing it around the house. I didn't waste any time actually getting a cleaning cloth on it.

Big Win Last Night!

I am celebrating this morning! Devin finally slept past 5 am! It was a long road and it involved some crying this morning around 4/5am but he made it. Wahoo!!! He hasn't done that in months!! I sure hope it happens again. 'Yes he can...'

And he couldn't have timed it better since we stayed up late last night watching the big win last night! I'm not sure which I am more excited about!

Devin says 'Great Big Daddy'!

First a bit of background: When my brother was born my Mom's Dad decided he was to young to be 'grandpa' and he became "Big Daddy" from then on. So now to Devin he's Great Big Daddy. At dinner last night Devin was having fun playing with GBD and we tried to get him to say his name. To our surprise - he did! A number of times. By the third time, I finally got the camera. The first two were of course the best. The first one I captured on camera wasn't bad and then you hear how he loses it.
